RILEY W. HEASLIP, 19, no address given, at 5:27 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Anthony Avenue, Janesville, on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Police pulled over a vehicle Heaslip had been driving because it had heavily tinted windows. Heaslip admitted he smoked pot in the vehicle earlier, and police found about 96 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle, along with marijuana brownies, marijuana wax and other marijuana edibles, plus a scale, packing materials and baking sheets.
Intoxicated driving arrests
DAKOTA A. AMUNDSON, 27, Edgerton, at 11:27 p.m. Wednesday at Carl’s Shell Gas Station, 11180 N. Goede Road, town of Fulton. After he went into the gas station, Amundson was sitting in his vehicle at the gas pump and not moving, a store clerk said. Amundson admitted he had been drinking and had an open alcohol beverage in his vehicle. He failed a field sobriety test. It was his second offense.
THEFT at 3:13 p.m. Thursday at the 4600 block of East Case Drive, town of Harmony. U.S. Cellular reported that someone had removed eight copper ground plates from a cellular tower. The copper plates are owned by U.S. Cellular and three other cellular companies. The plates had a total value of about $5,000.
FRAUD at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Jerome Avenue, Janesville. A man said he tried to sign up for an internet TV service earlier in the day, supplying his debit card number to a service provider. He said he never got access to the service, but somebody that day made four transactions on his card.
