BISMARCK, N.D. – Pure Dakota LLC and Grassroots Cannabis were selected to run the two manufacturing facilities for the state’s medical marijuana program.
According to a release from the Department of Health, Pure Dakota will locate their facility in Bismarck. Grassroots Cannabis will locate their facility in Fargo.
“The manufacturing facilities will be responsible for growing marijuana, drying the leaves and flowers, and converting marijuana into a medical marijuana product,” said Jason Wahl, director of the Division of Medical Marijuana.
Manufacturing facilities are only authorized to sell dried leaves or flowers and medical marijuana products to registered dispensaries. The application period for dispensaries is not currently open.
