Colorado has seen marijuana prices drop after legalizing medical and recreational pot in 2012. In neighboring Kansas, weed averages about $100 more per ounce. That’s according to user-submitted data from PriceOfWeed.com.
Kansas marijuana goes for about $347 per ounce. That’s a bit less than in neighboring states like Missouri and Oklahoma, but still about $140 more per ounce than the going rate in Oregon. Forbes reports:
Despite a strong marijuana culture, Colorado is surprisingly not the state with the lowest marijuana prices. At $204 for an ounce of high quality cannabis, Oregon is the state with the cheapest weed – almost half the cost of an ounce of marijuana in North Dakota, where prices are the highest in the country at $387 an ounce.
