BOWMAN, N.D. – The Bowman County School District One voted to place superintendent David Mahon on administrative leave until further notice at a special board meeting Wednesday. The district says he will surrender all school property and will continue to be paid until the school board has sought legal counsel.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Bowman County School District One superintendent has been charged with four drug related crimes.
Court documents say superintendent David Mahon allowed two teens to smoke marijuana in his home. Documents also say Mahon had possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Mahon is charged with two counts of endangerment of child or vulnerable adult and one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
