ASHE COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested and booked in the Ashe County Detention Center Friday, Oct. 13 through Friday, Oct. 20. The information is provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office and is public record.
Dakota Lee Powers, 26, 308 Sunny Drive, Crumpler, was charged with probation violations. He was issued two separate $5,000 secured bonds.
Gilbert Junior Spence, 60, of 810 23rd St, Kenova, W. Va., was charged with assault on a female, interfere with emergency communications and injury to personal property. He was issued a $1,00 secured bond.
Debra Maltba Brown, 42, of 724 Low Gap Road, Jefferson, was charged with shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and probation violations. She was issued a $364 cash bond. She was also issued a combined $55,750 secured bond.
Michael Joe Taylor, 44, of 724 Low Gap Road, Jefferson, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a secured bond o $2,500 and a separate secured bond of $500.
Rebecca Courtner Jones, 42, of 1789 Slemp Branch Road, Mountain City, Tenn., was charged with simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and failure to pay monies. She was issued a $296 cash bond.
Timothy Jack Hardin, 45, of 366 Cranberry Lane, Fleetwood, was charged with assault on a female. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond.
Hector Damon Hernandez, 33, of 1618 Nettle Knob Road, West Jefferson, was charged with driving while impaired and possession of an open container in the passenger area of a vehicle. No bond information was included.
Casey Alan McCraw, 26, of 1617 Nettle Knob Road, West Jefferson, was charged with a probation violation. He was issued a $15,000 secured bond.
